Northlake Garage Sale
Thursday, May 31st to Saturday, June 2nd, Thursday May 31 8am-2pm, Friday June 1 8am-2pm, Saturday June 2 9am-noon
That is what will be printed in ads, but you can choose any part of those hours or days to be open. This year I will not be making any maps. Hardly any customers took any last year and most were leftover and thrown away. For this reason, you don't need to tell me your address or that you are participating. I will put out the three general garage sale signs at the entrances on Wednesday evening as usual, but you may want to purchase your own signs from the dollar store to direct cars once in the neighborhood. Happy selling!
Fourth of July Bike Parade and Family Picnic
Wednesday, July 4th, 11 am at Orchid Heights Park, Middleton
All are welcome to walk and ride (bikes, scooters, strollers, wagons, etc.). Parade starts at 11 am at the corner of Rock Crest Rd and Sandhill Dr.
The parade ends at Orchid Heights Park where we will
immediately start up the family picnic. The neighborhood
association will provide hot dogs, brats and potluck fare.
Please bring a dish to share with your neighbors:
Last names A-M = savory
Last names N-Z = sweet

Bicycle / Pedestrian Plan
Posted on Jun 17th, 2014 Comments (0)
We wanted to bring attention to an issue that may effect the neighborhood in the coming years. There are plans by the city of Middleton in progress to build a paved trail connecting the bike paths in Governor Nelson state park with the trails in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy. The plan is to build an overpass/underpass over/under Q and install a bike trail along the lots on the north edge of our neighborhood using the easement attached to those lots. Installation probably won't happen until 2015/16

Teen Job board
Posted on Nov 19th, 2013 Comments (1)

Any interested teen can post a classified ad for the type of work they are interested in doing.  This may include babysitting, leaf and lawn care, snow removal, dog walking, etc.

To submit an ad, click “Submit a Classified Ad” on the classified page of the website to access the web-form.  Fill out the form to indicate the jobs you are available to perform under “Item” and include a description of the work you can do and your experience under the “Description” heading.  You should also include contact information and a suggested price for your work.

Once the form is submitted it will be approved by the webmaster and grouped into an appropriate category for neighbors to easily find your posting.  The ad is good for 90 days and will need to be resubmitted after that time.
