Bicycle / Pedestrian Plan
Posted on Jun 17th, 2014

We wanted to bring attention to an issue that may effect the neighborhood in the coming years. There are plans by the city of Middleton in progress to build a paved trail connecting the bike paths in Governor Nelson state park with the trails in the Pheasant Branch Conservancy.

BikeMapThe plan is to build an overpass/underpass over/under Q and install a bike trail along the lots on the north edge of our neighborhood using the easement attached to those lots. Installation probably won't happen until 2015/16. This will most effect residents in lots 207-217 and lots 100-117 as shown in the lot map below.

LotMapIf you want to find out more information or have input into the plans you should stay up to date with the parks/rec and forestry commission whose meetings are listed here - http://209.83.8.178/meet.aspx. You can also contact your city councilman from here - http://www.ci.middleton.wi.us/directory.aspx?EID=10
